Abstract: The Independant Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of NSW (the Tribunal) is responsible for regulating electricity prices for small retail customers in NSW. The current determination on these prices will expire on 30 June 2010. The Minister for Energy has asked the Tribunal to review and determine the regulated retail electricity tariffs and charges that will apply from 1 July 2010 - 30 June 2013.

To facilitate the electricity retail review, the Tribunal has asked electricity retailers for historical and projected information on certain aspects of the regulated supply and retail business parameters and new mass market entrant costs. This information will be used in the Tribunal's deliberations on the appropriate cost-reflective levels of regulated prices.
