Private Ferries & Stockton Ferry

IPART recommends maximum fares for regular private ferry services in New South Wales under Section 9 of the IPART Act. IPART will make recommendations on fare changes for these services by December 2009. The Director General of NSW Transport and Infrastructure will determine the fares that will apply after considering IPART's recommendations.

IPART also determines maximum fares for the Stockton ferry under Section 11 of the IPART Act. IPART will make its next determination in December 2009, for fare changes in January 2010. IPART will hold a public hearing in relation to Stockton Ferry fares on 11 November 2009 at our offices. An agenda for the hearing will be available in early November. 	IPART recommends maximum fares for selected private ferry services in New South Wales under Section 9 of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act. IPART also determines maximum fares for the Stockton ferry under Section 11 of this act. IPART will release its findings in late 2009.
