State Water assumed responsibility for the operation of the Fish River Water Supply Scheme from 1 January 2005. The characteristics of the scheme and the nature of its infrastructure are different to the rest of State Water's operations. For this reason, SKM's report on 'Sydney Performance Standards and Indicators for State Water Corporation' included a separate list of recommended standards and indicators for the Fish River Scheme. This report updates this list of recommended standards and indicators for the Fish River Scheme, based on consultation with the scheme's major customers and State Water. It also includes a recommended water balance template for the Fish River Scheme.
