We are seeking submissions to our Consultation Paper
IPART has started its 2025-26 monitoring reports on the NSW retail electricity and gas markets.
Each year, we monitor and report on matters including prices, competitive dynamics and the participation of households and small businesses in the NSW retail energy markets.
We want to hear views from a range of stakeholders including households, small businesses, consumer groups, industry associations, retailers and distribution networks on:
- our approach to energy market monitoring
- whether there are emerging issues we should explore in our Energy Market Monitoring Reports.
We are seeking stakeholder submissions to our Consultation Paper until 1 September 2026.
