Under section 116F(1) of the National Energy Retail Law (NSW), IPART can recommend to the Minister for Energy, a billing standard for an embedded network seller to bill embedded network customers for electricity, gas, hot water and centralised air-conditioning.
Under section 116(F)(2) an embedded network seller must, when billing an embedded network customer, comply with the billing standards approved by the Minister.
This draft billing standard presents how IPART proposes to maximum price for each embedded network commodity supplied to residential embedded network customers.
This version of this instrument is a consultation draft which IPART has not yet recommended, and the Minister has not yet considered.
