CRG meetings for 2026
The purpose of the CRG is to identify any practical issues or unintended consequences that might arise from the implementation of the rate peg methodology and impact communities. The CRG provides a forum to identify and address current and emergent issues.
The CRG met on 29 May 2026 to discuss the priorities it proposes the Tribunal consider for the 2027-28 rate peg.

The next CRG meetings are scheduled for 29 June 2026 and 11 August 2026.
We encourage you to share any ideas or issues related to the rate peg with the CRG representatives or directly with us, for consideration at CRG meetings. Your input helps inform the Tribunal’s decision-making on the rate peg.

Ratepayer workshop for 2026
We hold periodic ratepayer workshops where ratepayers and other stakeholders can provide their feedback and views on the rate peg methodology and for us to share any new developments.
At this stage, we are expecting the 2026 online ratepayer workshop to be held in August 2026. We will get in touch with ratepayers and the community once details are available.

We have updated the Terms of Reference for the CRG
The original CRG Terms of Reference (ToR) was drafted in 2024, on the basis that the CRG would operate for at least 2 years and be reviewed following that period.
IPART considers that the input from the CRG has been valuable and plans to continue the CRG on an ongoing basis.
We completed consultation on the ToR in April 2026. We thank you for your feedback. The submissions can be found here.
