Transport for NSW’s response to IPART's Final Report and Recommendations on Taxi Fares in NSW from July 2012

CityRail has submitted a fare proposal to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (Tribunal).

IPART's role in regulating rural and regional bus fares is to recommend to the Minister for Transport changes to the maximum fares bus operators can charge for regular passenger services for fare-paying passengers in rural and regional NSW.

We have finalised our recommendations for country taxi fares. We recommend that they remain unchanged from July 2014.
