Draft Determination - Transport - maximum fares for Opal Services - December 2015
The Minister for Transport and Infrastructure has referred to IPART the task of determining appropriate maximum fares for classes of opal fares from 1 July 2016 - 30 June 2019.
Transport for NSW changes to fares for Opal services.
The draft determination is the legal instrument for our draft Opal fares pricing decisions for 2020-2024.
Transport for NSW has notified IPART that it proposes to increase Opal fares by an average of 3% from 4 July 2022.
IPART has been asked to review and determine maximum fares for public transport to apply from July 2016.
