Transport for NSW changes to fares for Opal services.

Transport for NSW has notified IPART that it proposes to increase Opal fares by an average of 3% from 4 July 2022.

The draft report sets out our draft decisions and recommendations for our review of maximum Opal fares for 2020-2024.

The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is conducting a major review of public transport fares in Sydney and surrounding areas.
