Sets out IPART's recommendations on the maximum taxi fares from July 2010. Also sets out recommendations on a number of related issues including whether flat fares should be introduced between Sydney CBD and Sydney airport.

IPART recommends maximum fares for selected private ferry services in New South Wales under Section 9 of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act. IPART also determines maximum fares for the Stockton ferry under Section 11 of this act.

IPART has determined that CityRail’s fares will increase by a weighted average of 5.9 per cent from 11 November 2007. The fare increases determined by IPART are consistent with those proposed by RailCorp.
