The Minister for Resources and Energy of NSW has asked IPART to undertake an investigation into solar feed-in tariffs.

IPART’s solar feed-in tariff determination for 2013/14 sets a benchmark range of 6.6 to 11.2 cents per kilowatt hour (c/kWh) for electricity exported by PV customers to the grid in 2013/14.
IPART has published its solar feed-in tariff guide for customers in 2022-23. Customers can expect to receive 6.2 to 10.4 c/kWh from their electricity retailer for the solar exports they feed into the grid.
