In 2008 IPART conducted a survey of residential water, electricity and gas consumers in the Gosford City Council area, Wyong Shire Council area and the area served by Hunter Water Corporation.

IPART conducted a household survey in 2006 in Sydney Water Corporation’s area of operation, which includes the Sydney metropolitan area, Illawarra and Blue Mountains.

The survey is intended to assist the Tribunal in assessing the potential impact of changes in prices for utilities and public transport on households.
