This Issues Paper sets out key issues for our review of the maximum prices that WaterNSW can charge for providing rural bulk water services.
IPART is undertaking a 5-year review of Hunter Water’s operating licence. We have released an Issues Paper as the first step of the review process.
In accordance with Section 31 of the Sydney Water Act, 1994 (NSW), the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales has completed the audit of Sydney Water’s compliance for 2014 -2015.
The Issues Paper summarises the key issues in in setting SDP’s prices from 1 July 2017 and the 2012 Methodology Paper on the energy and efficiency adjustment mechanisms for SDP. It also outlines our preliminary views on these issues.
In accordance with Section 18B of the Hunter Water Act 1991 (NSW), IPART has completed the audit of Hunter Water’s compliance with the requirements of its 2012-2017 Operating Licence.
The Tribunal is required to report to the Minister by 31 October each year on licence compliance. The report is publicly released after being tabled in Parliament.
