The Tribunal has decided that Sydney Water’s overall revenue should increase in line with movements in the consumer price index (CPI) in each year of the determination period.

The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales (the Tribunal) has completed its 2002 review of metropolitan water businesses.

The Tribunal has found that Sydney Catchment Authority’s existing price path to June 2005 remains appropriate.

For this determination, the Tribunal has conducted an extensive public consultative process, reviewed all written submissions and held public hearings.

IPART invites submissions from interested parties to the review of Essential Energy's prices by no later than 11 October 2013.
