During March 1996 the Tribunal released its determination on electricity prices, establishing separate revenue paths for the network and retail supply business of the distributors for three years to June 1999.
In accordance with Section 31 of the Sydney Water Act, 1994 (NSW), the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales has completed the audit of Sydney Water’s compliance with the requirements of its 2010-2015 Operating Licence.
In accordance with Section 30 of the State Water Corporations Act 2004 (NSW), IPART has completed the audit of State Water Corporation’s compliance with the requirements of its 2008-2013 Operating Licence.
The draft operating licence outlines the proposed conditions we may recommend to the Minister for Natural Resources, Lands and Water to be included in Sydney Water’s new operating licence.
In accordance with Section 18B of the Hunter Water Act 1991 (NSW), IPART has completed the audit of Hunter Water’s compliance with the requirements of its 2012-2017 Operating Licence.
As of 30 June 2015, IPART monitored 23 licences under our compliance program. There were 15 network operator’s licences and eight retail supplier’s licences.

IPART is proposing to revise the Network Operator's Reporting Manual prepared under the Water Industry Competition Act 2006. Changes in reporting requirements since the last revision have been captured in the draft manual.
