In accordance with Section 31 of the Sydney Water Act, 1994 (NSW), the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales has completed the audit of Sydney Water’s compliance with the requirements of its 2010-2015 Operating Licence.
IPART undertakes an annual audit of Hunter Water's compliance with its Operating Licence. The 2018 audit was the first audit under the current Hunter Water Operating Licence 2017-2022.
IPART remains supportive of our Rule change proposal submitted in September 2012 for the reasons that we have previously articulated. We also support SCER's proposal to base network prices on an estimate of the long run marginal cost (LRMC).
