IPART is responsible for regulating retail electricity prices for around 40% of all residential and small business customers in NSW.

This report discusses the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal’s proposed regulatory arrangements for prices charged to tariff customers1 by the incumbent retailer using the AGL gas networks in NSW (the delivered prices of gas).

This cost benefit analysis considers the costs and benefits of each proposed change to State Water’s operating licence. In general, the draft operating licence has been prepared in accordance with the findings of the cost benefit analysis.

IPART recommends maximum fares for regular private ferry services in New South Wales under Section 9 of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act. IPART also determines maximum fares for the Stockton ferry under Section 11 of this act.

IPART has issued a draft report in response to the request from the NSW Government to conduct a review into the development of a funding framework and complementary service pricing system for Local Land Services NSW.
