KPMG have analysed the proposed costs expected to be incurred by WorkCover in regulating major hazard facilities in NSW. The report concludes that the costs proposed by WorkCover are reasonable estimates of the cost of providing the regulatory services described by WorkCover. The consultant also identified some additional costs that may also be incurred, without assessing the reasonableness or otherwise of those additional costs.
