The draft determination is the legal instrument for the draft pricing decisions related to: Holding entitlements for water and extracting water from regulated rivers, unregulated rivers and groundwater sources (water management prices), issuing water access licenses, works approvals and other consent transactions under the Water Management Act 2000 (consent transaction charges), and maintaining and reading meters (meter servicing and reading charges) for unregulated rivers and groundwater. These prices are levied by the the NSW Office of Water (NOW) on behalf of the Water Administration Ministerial Corporation (WAMC). These prices are expected to take effect from 1 July 2011 and to continue until 30 June 2014. We are seeking feedback from stakeholders on our draft determination by 29 November 2010.
