The NSW Government issued IPART a draft Terms of Reference to undertake a review of the water pricing and regulatory framework for data centres, under section 12A of the IPART Act. The draft Terms of Reference sets out the scope of the review and the matters IPART must consider.
We are seeking feedback on the scope of the review as set out in the draft Terms of Reference. We welcome submissions from all interested stakeholders, including community members, data centre owners and operators, developers, water utilities and Water Industry Competition Act 2006 licensees.
IPART will consider all feedback from stakeholders, and may recommend changes to the draft Terms of Reference before it is finalised by the NSW Government.
