Future of embedded networks

Have your say on our draft terms of reference to review the price protections for customers in embedded networks for energy and hot and chilled water supplies.

Embedded networks are private energy networks for services such as electricity, hot water and gas. Network customers have limited access to retail competition to put downward pressure on prices.

Interoperable electronic conveyancing transactions

We have released our draft report on interoperability pricing for Electronic Lodgment Network Operators (ELNOs).

IPART encourages all interested parties to make a submission by Friday 24 March.

Andrew Nicholls PSM has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of IPART. He commenced at IPART on 30 January 2023.

Andrew is a highly experienced public sector executive leader with substantial expertise in regulation, public policy, legislative and operational reform, organisational strategy and customer service.

Review of Sydney Desalination Plant prices

IPART is reviewing the maximum prices that Sydney Desalination Plant Pty Ltd (SDP) can charge Sydney Water for its water supply and security services in the Greater Sydney region from 1 July 2023.
