NSW Transmission Reliability Standards Review - Value of Customer Reliability

IPART is undertaking a 5-year review of Hunter Water’s operating licence. The review will determine if the existing licence is meeting its objectives and whether the licence can be amended to make it more effective.

This fact sheet provides information about the Issues Paper for the Hunter Water operating licence 5-year review. It also outlines the overall operating licence review process and how you can provide input into this review.

This report sets out IPART’s draft recommendations in regard to reliability standards for the NSW transmission network. The recommended standards would apply to the next regulatory period, starting on 1 July 2018.

Ausgrid, TransGrid and Endeavour Energy are required to report quarterly to IPART on their compliance with the obligations. This fact sheet summarises the reports received for the March - June quarter 2016.
