IPART's role in regulating rural and regional bus fares is to recommend to the Minister for Transport changes to the maximum fares bus operators can charge for regular passenger services for fare-paying passengers in rural and regional NSW.
This case study applies the Licensing Framework to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) distribution licence. This assessment is only for Stage 1 of the Licensing Framework as we found that the licensing of LPG distributors is not appropriate.
