This media release sets out key points from our draft report on maximum taxi fares in NSW. The draft report includes indicative fare changes of 3.2% for urban taxis and 3.4% for country taxis from July 2012.
IPART makes recommendations on maximum taxi fares to Transport for NSW each year. Our recommendations are based on the annual changes in costs measured by Taxi Cost Indices (TCIs).
