Pursuant to section 12A of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992, the Premier has requested the Tribunal to review the regulation and licensing of air service operators in New South Wales (NSW).
Intrastate air services form an integral part of the state transport network. In most cases they compete with services provided by other modes of transport (eg roads, rail).
