The NSW Valuer General is responsible for providing land values in NSW. These are used by councils when calculating rates.
IPART determines the maximum price that the Valuer General can charge councils for this service.
The NSW Premier approved a final Terms of Reference for us to review the Valuer General’s prices to NSW local government for the 6 years from July 2025.
We will undertake a consultative review and provide our Final Report and Determination to the Premier by 15 May 2025.
